Starting Over

I haven't wrote in what seems like forever well thats what was happening with my work outs too. I took a week off for x-mas, then got sick and that lasted forever. I finally got back in the gym 2/7 so I was out a total of a month and a half or so. I have been doing really good at the gym and love it. I try to go 5 days a week mon-fri. and that has worked for the most part. I've had a few things get in the way of it some mornings but only missed the gym 2 or 3 times in the last month.

Now down to the numbers. For the month and a half I fell back into old habits, I fortunately only gained 2 pounds back. Which I'm very fortunate because I know it could've been a lot more. I knew I had to get back in the gym as soon as I felt better. When I'm working out I eat better. When I'm not working out I dont care what I eat. I now have switched gyms, Im at Golds Gym and have cancelled my 24 hour fitness membership. It was always so crowded there and I would have to wait for a treadmill. I already can barely squeez in my workout, I cant stand around waiting for a cardio machine. I LOVE Golds Gym!!! Being there I have started my weight training, and drinking protein shakes after my workout. I think building the muscle was the reason it took me 2 weeks to start .losing any weight again. When I finally started seeing a loss on the scale was 2/28 which was a pound lost. Not bad considering I was staying at the weight I was for 2 weeks. Today I jumped on and since last week have lost a whopping 3.2 pounds. Thats amazing!!! I'm ecstatic!!!

I have switched my goals around and my primary small goal is to be under 200 pounds by July 1st. I know its possible so here I go!!! Goodbye fat girl!!!

Weigh In Week 11

Still sick and still no gym visit :( Super bummed. Im sick of being sick!!!! lol. Seriously though, I just feel so out of it having not been able to go to the gym. Feeling a little better today, so maybe tonight... I had a lose this week so thats awesome.

-2 pounds for a total of 19 pounds!!!

Weigh In Week 10

All last week I was sick, coughing, sneezing, sore throat, all the above and more!! So no gym again for another week!!! I haven't been to the gym now in over 2 weeks!!!! I'm so upset about that. I really really wanna go tonight. I still have a mucous build-up (I smoke, so getting over the mucous part of a cold takes forever) but I still wanna beat my own butt on the treadmill tonight. I need it. To be completely honest I also haven't been drinking any water and the soda intake has risen. So I need to get back on the ball.... like now. The holidays are over and a new year has begun. This is my year to look how I feel.... Gorgeous.

The last week I gained 1.4 pounds. So my total loss 17 pounds in 10 weeks.

Weigh In Week 9

With the holidays last week, and all the chaos of last minute Christmas shopping I decided to give myself a break for a week. I did just that, I pigged out on lots, and didn't get any days in at the gym. Only exersize I had was walking in the mall while shopping. I thought for sure that I wasn't going to lose anything but to my surprise I lost....... 2.4 pounds!!!! I missed the gym so much and wanted to get back to it this week but unfortunately I have been sick, and the shortness of breath sucks, so until I get better I can't make it to the gym. I may go this evening and at least do a light walk on the treadmill, so I can at least get some kind of activity in today.


P.S. My total weight loss to date is 18.4 pounds. Was hoping to make it to 20 pounds by New Years but hopefully it will just be 3 days behind. So shooting for at least a 1.6 pound loss next Monday!!!

8 Week Weigh-In

Last week wasn't my best at all. 1st I didn't do my lunch walks as I previously stated in a post, and only got to go to the gym twice (though I did great at the gym the two times) also it's been the time of the month for me since last Thursday. On saturday I went out to T.G.I Fridays and ate something not low in calories or fat but overall today still had a..... 1.8 pound loss!!!

Not bad considering my slip-ups. So now down to 14.4 pounds lost total.

550... thats how many calories I burned last night at the gym. I did 10 minutes on the elliptical and 35 minutes on the treadmill. Then did some weight training and worked my arms. I was sweating like a pig. I sweat sooo much when I work out, I guess thats a good thing though right? Well today I'm going to the nail salon for a pedi and my eyebrows waxed. Tomorrow we're taking pictures so I need to touch those things up beforehand. Also need to go grocery shopping and would love to go to the gym during the day so that I can go tonight also and get 2 gym sessions in... and burn 1100 calories. That sounds excellent!!! Hopefully I can accomplish it :)

Not the best...

So this week so far hasn't been that great. Since I started this over a month ago, I usually use my 30 minute lunch to go on a 2 mile walk near my job. Let me say I haven't done that at all this week, also missed the gym on Monday, but went on Tuesday and did great. 500 calories in 45 minutes of cardio. I loved it!!! Last night couldnt go to the gym either. I'm so bummed I didn't just get up and go. Then this morning it's that time of the month so I will do the gym tonight but I just can't do my 2 mile lunch walk, the cramps are bad the first day. So basically I have to work my ass off tonight, tomorrow, saturday, and sunday to make up for missing 2 days. I can't have a gain Monday morning, I will be so upset.
